How often do we meet?
'By the Shore' book club meets once a month.
When and where do we meet?
We meet on the third Monday of each month, from 9:15-1130am in the Fireside Wing.
What kind of commitment is required?
There is no set commitment. You may pick and choose the months you would like to participate. Letting kathy_means@pbc.org know that you are coming is helpful, but not crucial.
What shall I bring, and have prepared, when I do come?
It is beneficial to have pre-read the book selection for each gathering so that you can participate in the discussion. Also, bringing a simple food item to share is always appreciated.
Is there a children's program available?
Please register your child/children if you are planning to attend one of the mid-week, on-going women's groups, even if you have previously registered your children for other events at Peninsula Bible Church. This will help us to provide a healthy ratio of childcare workers so as not to turn visitors or regulars away. You may register online or by contacting Lora Carey at lora_carey@pbc.org or calling 650/494-3840 x225. Registration for families new to PBC are welcomed throughout the year.
